LogiMAT 2020: The ICS Group shows companies how to future-proof and optimize their individual processes in logistics and omnichannel while keeping costs to a minimum.
Neu-Anspach, December 9, 2019 The ICS Group (ICS) will be presenting the new developments in their portfolio on the automation and digitization of warehouse, logistics, and general supply chain processes at Booth A21 in Hall 8 of the LogiMAT trade fair in Stuttgart from March 10-12, 2020. ICS specializes in integrative software, systems, and smart services that customers use to attain significant advantages in productivity and economies of scale over short periods of time.
The Warehouse Management System Stradivari® WMS is the central focus of the software segment. Its tried-and-tested features for specific industries guarantee it a fast rollout, and the 2020 version is prepared for various Android devices such as wearable computers, handhelds, and tablets. ICS will also be presenting enhanced and intuitive software interfaces for the pre-configured mobile business platform “4mobile” in transport and store logistics, and for the merchandise management app “ICS StoreManager” in retail and warehouse environments.
In addition, innovative solutions for real-time localization and track-and-trace, and for mobile device management, will be on display. ICS will also be offering advice on device migration from older versions of Windows to the future-proof Android operating system. The stand offering is rounded out by the current top technologies in mobile computing, scanning, and on-demand printing, which will be available to try out in a live test for individual requirements.
In logistics, the factors critical to success are speed, process safety, and real-time transparency. Stradivari WMS, the system capable of managing multiple warehouses and multiple clients, has been proving its strengths in these areas for over 20 years in mid-sized businesses. ICS’s quality-tested Warehouse Management System integrates storage and retrieval systems, robot-supported storage systems, and real-time transport control systems that all meet requirements, as well as paperless order-picking processes such as pick-by-voice, among others. Android mobility, smart IoT processes, and optional video intelligence also guarantee the highest level of scalability.
The “4mobile” software takes on the task of real-time processing in external logistics for transport operators and logistics providers, and for technical service fleets. Digital workflows and real-time localization help streamline scheduling, vehicle loading and unloading, routes, cold chain monitoring, and on-site order management. Thanks to the new software features and enhanced telematics functions, the tried-and-tested software also supports sustainable reverse logistics and helps to significantly reduce carbon dioxide emissions.
